Y's Retired of UK is made up from the four nations of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. They enjoy a tremendous friendship together and are very proud of the legacy that their hard, committed work has left for the present and future YMCA staff and youth generations.

Reunion July 2008 - Cumbria

In July 2008 - members of the YMCA Training Course 1960-61, met for what has become an Annual Reunion over the years

This took place at the Willowfield Hotel, Arnside, Cumbria, as it has done for a number of years, a beautiful area, overlooking the River Kent estuary, ideal for bird-watching, walking and watching the trains trundle over the bridge.

Those attending were Arthur & Rosemary Bennett, Stewart & Hilary Page, Paul & Liz Harper, Peter & Olive Brookes, Ted Milburn & Jeannie Mackenzie, Freda Sutherland-Scott, Barbara Kent.

As they say a “good time was had by all,” including a visit to Blackwell House, plenty of trips down memory lane, and most important lots of laughter, with happy memories of Keith Sutherland- Scott, and Michael Kent.

Welcome especially to those who have given service to the YMCA, in whatever capacity.
